About Michael Lovett
As a director at Ventura Trust, Mike is responsible for all aspects of client relationships. This includes leading and supporting ESOP transactions from the trustee side alongside financial and legal advisors, as well as leading trustee responsibilities for ongoing clients, such as the annual valuation update.
Prior to joining Ventura in 2025, Mike worked as a Director at a boutique investment banking and business valuation firm, where he was responsible for project leadership and execution on mergers & acquisitions, Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) transactions, and other investment banking and valuation advisory assignments.
Mike holds the Accredited Senior Appraiser designation with the American Society of Appraisers, and sits on the Valuation Advisory Committee of the ESOP Association.
Michael is based in Whittier, CA, where he lives with his wife and their bulldog, Linguine. When he’s not working, he enjoys camping, live music, and supporting his favorite sport teams: the Dodgers, Lakers, and Seahawks.
