LA FIRE RELIEF: A CALL TO APPRAISERS

In support of the ASA Los Angeles Chapter we are forwarding this message to all ASA Nor Cal members.

The recent wildfires have left many in our community facing devastating losses—homes, businesses, and irreplaceable personal property. As recovery begins, the American Society of Appraisers Los Angeles Chapter, in collaboration with our NorCal and San Diego colleagues, is committed to providing guidance and resources for those in need of appraisals for fire-damaged property.

To support both appraisers and those affected, we will be hosting an in-person meeting and a webinar to share essential tools and information. Details and dates will be announced soon.

If you or someone you know has been impacted, please reach out. We are here to connect you with professional resources, assist appraisers in navigating these complex valuations, and help our community take the first steps toward rebuilding.

When we stand together, we create a brighter path forward—and together, we can help heal and restore what was lost.

Over the past month, the ASA LA Chapter board has been exploring ways to support those affected by the recent Los Angeles fires. To assist in the recovery efforts, we are compiling a list of appraisers willing to offer free consultations, reduced fees, or other forms of assistance.
