Another ASA NorCal Fiscal Year Complete!

The ASA NorCal Board of Directors met in June to (among other things) plan for the upcoming 2017-2018 ASA NorCal year of events. You will note a few important changes to our chapter meeting events. We surveyed the membership regarding preferences for our chapter meeting times and locations. In response to the feedback from members, we will be trying out four different venues this coming season and two meeting times:  two lunch meetings, two dinner meetings, one each in San Francisco and Oakland.

News From Our Events

Joe Orlando organized an afternoon at the ballpark for ASA NorCal’s final meeting of the year. We filled up side-by-side suites at Oakland Stadium and watched the game in style! It was fun way to spend the afternoon catching up with fellow appraisers from all disciplines, watching the game, and meeting candidate and prospective ASA members who were the invited guests of our discipline directors. The addition of members’ children made the whole day extra special. Watch for a repeat of this enthusiastically attended event in 2018!
